This Privacy Policy explains how WebPixie collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data while providing its services. It applies to all users of the Service and is subject to the Terms of Service.
2. Data We Collect
Account Information
- • Email address, full name, profile photo (optional)
- • Workspace membership and user roles
- • Authentication is managed by Firebase Auth; WebPixie does not store user login passwords
Billing Information
- • Payment processing is entirely handled by Stripe
- • WebPixie never stores credit card data
- • Billing details (billing address, tax information) may be processed for billing compliance
Service Usage Data
- • All information added to the Workspace (e.g., domain names, uptime targets, workspace users)
- • Public information automatically collected within the scope of services provided such as DNS, SSL, WHOIS, etc.
Logs & Metadata
- • Access logs are retained for 1 year
- • Error logs are retained for 6 months
- • Operational metadata such as request time, device information, IPs, and browser information. WebPixie may process and share this information as part of security, logging, and operational monitoring activities. WebPixie strives not to hold personal data in these logs and, if necessary, to anonymize them as much as possible.

Analytics Data
WebPixie uses Google Analytics and Amplitude to understand product usage. Analytics are only enabled when the user provides explicit consent to analytics cookies. Analytics tools are not run without user consent. Analytics usage events may be associated with the user's email, internal user ID, workspace ID, and name for product development purposes if the user provides explicit consent. No other information is provided to these analytics tools by WebPixie.
3. How We Use Data

- • To improve product features using anonymized operational trends
4. Legal Bases
Personal data is processed based on the following legal bases:
- • Performance of the service contract
- • Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, operational logging)
- • Explicit consent (analytics cookies and other optional technologies)
- • Legal obligations (accounting, invoice retention)

All details on how we process data are specified in the Data Processing Agreement.
6. Data Storage and Retention
- • Primary customer data is stored in EU regions
- • Operational metadata may be processed globally
- • Retention periods:
- • Access logs: 1 year
- • Error logs: 6 months
- • Workspace data: as specified in subscription plans
- • Upon account closure, all data that will not be necessary for legal reasons in the future is permanently deleted after 30 days
7. Sub-Processors
WebPixie uses trusted third-party providers:
- • AWS - infrastructure hosting
- • Cloudflare - CDN, WAF, and edge security
- • Sentry - error logging
- • SendGrid - email delivery
- • Stripe - payment processing
- • Google Analytics - product analytics
- • Amplitude - product analytics
Users will be notified 7-14 days in advance before adding new sub-processors.
8. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- • WebPixie never sells your personal data
- • Data is shared with authorized sub-processors only when necessary to operate the Service, with a minimum data sharing policy
- • Information may be shared in case of laws, regulations, or legal requests
9. Security Measures
- • Access controls and role-based permissions
- • Monitoring and automated threat detection
User responsibilities:
- • Protect account credentials and API users
- • Immediately notify WebPixie in case of unauthorized access
10. Public Status Pages and Public Data
- • WebPixie does not display your personal data on public status pages by default. Only information specified by the user is displayed on these pages
- • WebPixie only collects publicly available technical data (unless authentication-required checks are explicitly configured)
11. International Data Transfers
- • Due to infrastructure, CDN, analytics, and monitoring providers, WebPixie may transfer some data outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area.
- • Transfers are based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards
12. Your Rights
Users have the following rights:
- • Access to personal data
- • Correction of incorrect information
- • Request deletion (right to be forgotten)
- • Restrict or object to processing
- • Export data (data portability)
- • Complain to a supervisory authority

WebPixie never knowingly and intentionally collects data from minors.
