Workspace

Learn about the Workspace structure in WebPixie, which is the main working area where you can manage your monitored websites, uptime checks, and monitoring results.

In WebPixie, all monitoring operations are organized within the Workspace structure.

A Workspace is the main working area where websites, uptime checks, reports, and incident records are managed. Users manage all monitoring operations they perform on the platform within a Workspace.

The Workspace structure particularly enables teams monitoring multiple websites, agencies, or users managing different projects to organize their monitoring processes in an orderly manner.

What is a Workspace?

A Workspace is the working area where all monitored assets are collected within WebPixie.

Within a Workspace, users can:

  • Add websites
  • Create uptime checks
  • Track domain and SSL statuses
  • Review link crawler results
  • Track incident records
  • Receive reports specific to the Workspace

This structure allows different websites or projects to be monitored centrally within a single workspace.

Workspace and Plan Limits

In WebPixie, each Workspace operates with specific usage rights and limits based on the selected plan.

Plans determine which features can be used within a Workspace and how much capacity is available. These limits are not restricted to a single metric; monitored websites, uptime checks, crawling capacities, reporting capabilities, and similar usage areas may vary according to the plan structure.

Some limits are not evaluated under the same category and are managed separately. For example, the website monitoring limit and the uptime monitoring limit may be independent of each other.

This structure ensures that each Workspace is managed according to its own plan and that the usage scope is determined in a more controlled manner.

What's Inside a Workspace?

Within a Workspace, users can manage the following monitoring components:

  • Websites
  • Uptime checks
  • Domain and SSL statuses
  • DNS configurations
  • Site link crawls
  • Incident records
  • Monitoring reports
  • User Management
  • Subscriptions
  • Workspace Management

These components work together to provide a holistic visibility into the technical health of websites.

Workspace Usage Scenarios

The Workspace structure is designed to be suitable for different usage scenarios.

Company Usage

A company can monitor its different websites within a single Workspace. Corporate websites, product sites, or landing pages for different services can be tracked under the same Workspace.

This allows teams to monitor the technical status of their web assets through a centralized platform.

Agency and Client Management

Digital agencies or freelancers can monitor their clients' websites within a Workspace.

Agency teams can track the accessibility, technical status, and potential incidents of their clients' sites from a single panel.

Team Collaboration

The Workspace structure enables team members to work together on the same monitoring area.

Multiple users can be part of the same Workspace and review monitoring results related to websites together. This structure particularly makes it easier for developer, DevOps, and operations teams to track technical statuses together.

Project or Product-Based Usage

Separate Workspaces can be created for different projects or products. This way, each project has its own monitoring structure and monitoring scope.

This structure particularly makes monitoring processes more organized for teams managing multiple products or services.
