Notifications
WebPixie notifies you when incidents are created or resolved, so your team stays informed without having to check the dashboard.
WebPixie automatically sends notifications when it detects a problem, and again when that problem is resolved.
Some features and limits mentioned on this page vary by plan. Visit our Pricing page to review the plans.
What Triggers a Notification
A notification is sent when an incident is created or resolved for:
- Uptime (site inaccessible)
- SSL check failure
- SSL expiration
- Domain expiration
- Domain suspended
Who Receives Notifications
By default, notifications are sent by email to every member of the workspace. Notification behavior can be configured per resource — meaning you can control it individually for a specific site or uptime monitor.
There is no SMS or voice call alerting, and no on-call escalation policies — notifications go out to workspace members through Email, Slack, or Webhook, depending on your plan.
Free Plan Limitations
On the Free plan, you still receive email notifications for the events above. However, you don't get an incident list, incident lifecycle tracking, incident reporting, or the ability to add notes to incidents. See the Incidents page for details.
