Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains under what conditions WebPixie Ltd. will provide refunds for paid Subscription plans. This Policy applies to all Users and is part of the Terms of Service.
Refunds are made only through the original payment method used at purchase. WebPixie does not provide account credits.
2. Initial Purchase - 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Users can cancel their initial purchases within 14 days and receive a full refund provided that no Service usage has occurred.
2.1. What "no usage" means
The withdrawal right refund is valid only if ALL of the following conditions are true:
- • No sites added
- • No uptime checks or monitoring targets created
- • No analysis, scans, crawls, or security checks triggered
- • No API access or data retrieval occurred
If any Service activity has occurred, the Subscription period is considered fully used and no refund rights exist.
3. Service Usage Begins Immediately
WebPixie provides an immediately consumable digital service. When a User adds a site, uptime target, or triggers any monitoring or scanning action, the Service is considered immediately delivered and the legal right of withdrawal becomes invalid after usage begins.
4. Renewal Refund Window (48 Hours)
For automatically renewing Subscriptions:
- • If the user cancels within 48 hours of renewal → full refund
- • After 48 hours → no refund
This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
5. Annual Plans - Pro-Rated Refunds
Users on annual plans can request cancellation at any time. Refunds for unused time are calculated as follows:
5.1. Pro-Rated Calculation
- • The used portion is charged at the full undiscounted monthly list price
- • The remaining portion is refunded at the remaining full monthly value
Annual plan discounts do not apply to the calculation of used time.
Example (for illustrative purposes only - not binding): If 3 months are used, the cost of those 3 months is calculated based on standard monthly pricing, and the remaining months are refunded accordingly.
6. Technical Outage Refunds
Refunds for technical outages are valid only if ALL of the following conditions are met:
- 1. The WebPixie platform experiences complete outage, all core functionality (monitoring, dashboard, API) becomes inoperable, and
- 2. The outage is directly attributable to WebPixie, and
- 3. The outage lasts cumulatively more than 48 hours in a 30-day period (excluding planned maintenance).
When these conditions are met, a pro-rated refund is provided for the affected period.
No other outage-based refunds are offered.
7. Duplicate or Incorrect Billings
- • Duplicate charges
- • Incorrect overbilling
- • Incorrect payment processing events
These are fully refunded through the original payment method.
8. Abuse, Misuse, and Excessive Usage
WebPixie may decide that the User's refund rights do not apply in cases such as:
- • Excessive or abnormal resource consumption
- • High-volume scanning or service usage in the period prior to refund request
- • Attempts to exploit renewal or withdrawal right windows
- • Activities violating the Terms of Service
WebPixie reserves the right to deny refunds in such cases.
9. No Refunds Outside These Conditions
No refunds are provided outside the situations explicitly listed in this Policy for:
- • Partial billing periods
- • Unused time after cancellation
- • Change of mind after usage begins
- • Plan downgrades
- • Early cancellation of monthly plans
10. Refund Method and Timing
- • Refunds are made only through the original payment method via Stripe
- • Processing times depend on Stripe and the User's bank/card issuer
- • WebPixie does not provide refunds via bank transfer, cash, or platform credits

12. Changes to This Policy
WebPixie may update this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service implies acceptance of the updated Policy.
